Have you ever felt stuck in a situation that was holding you back? Or found yourself at an impasse working on a project? Sometimes it can feel like progress is difficult to make, like we’re moving too slow, or not moving at all. What do you do when it seems like making the next step in life is difficult or downright impossible?
One Biblical figure we can look to who paved the way for progress is Moses. In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy writes that Moses “advanced a nation to the worship of God in Spirit instead of matter.” Talk about making progress! By listening to God and following through on Divine direction, Moses guided the children of Israel triumphantly out of their enslavement to Pharaoh through the Red Sea. He did this three thousand years ago, but the same kind of progress is available to us today. We too can leave behind old beliefs of limitation and gain the freedom to make progress in our lives.

The first reader will offer readings from the Bible and Christian Science Textbook, and then open the floor for attendees to speak about the divinely inspired progress in their own lives.
