Ever been in the belly of a whale? Me neither. But I do know the feeling of confronting fear, like the fear of doing something I don’t want to do. Both Pinocchio and Jonah, in different ways in their respective stories, were dealing with serious avoidance, and both were swallowed by whales! Pinocchio did not want to come clean and tell the truth. Jonah was trying to run from the task God had set before him. It wasn’t until Jonah availed himself of God, Truth, that he was set free.

This Sunday, July 28th, our Church service delves into the topic of Truth, what it is, and how it can free us to lead the life that is set before us without fear. Church starts at 11am, we hope to see you there!
