“What is the scientific statement of being?” is a question found in the Christian Science Textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.  What a profound question, just to ask, let alone answer.  It echoes the writers of the Bible.  In Proverbs, we are asked “Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?” (Proverbs 23:5).

This weeks Christian Science Bible Lesson takes apart Eddy’s scientific statement of being and puts it back together, explaining through many citations and stories from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, that “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all.”
